Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates is based on the Pilates method. It focuses on core stability, strength, posture, balance and control. It differs from Pilates classes in that it is tailored to the individual and taught by a fully qualified physiotherapist. It is exercises on reformers, trap tables and other specialised equipment used to treat specific injuries, especially low back pain and instability of the spine. It is an excellent way to train your core, get stronger and prepare for return from injury. Clinical Pilates is often covered by insurance when used by your physiotherapist.
