Liesbeth completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 1980 in The Netherlands. In 1987 she completed her post-graduate degree in Paediatric Physiotherapy from the University of Utrecht (The Netherlands).

Liesbeth has over 40 years of experience with diverse populations including children with complex physical disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, various syndromes, and other genetic conditions, developmental delay, postural problems, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing difficulties, and developmental coordination disorder.

Liesbeth is originally from The Netherlands and has been practising physiotherapy in a variety of settings including mainstream schools, schools for special needs children, rehabilitation centres, early intervention as well as private practices in The Netherlands and Singapore. Liesbeth has been a part of the PhysioCentral team since its inception in 2003.

Liesbeth is Neuro Development Treatment (NDT) certified and has extensive experience in Sensory Integration and other Sensory Motor Therapies; she is Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT) certified. Furthermore, she is certified in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Yoga for the Special Child, Therapeutic Listening and Samonas, and trained in the use of The Neurosuit. She is a certified Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME) therapist through the Canadian MEDEK Centre. CME is a physiotherapy approach for infants suffering from abnormal developmental motor evolution.

A Special Update on Liesbeth Krebbers

After 23 wonderful years at PhysioCentral, our much-loved paediatric physiotherapist Liesbeth Krebbers has now retired. Liesbeth has supported generations of children and families with exceptional care, warmth, and dedication, and she will be deeply missed by both our team and the families she has worked with.

As she begins this next chapter, Liesbeth has personally recommended Charmaine Wong for ongoing paediatric physiotherapy care. Charmaine’s training, treatment approach, and values are closely aligned with Liesbeth’s, and she continues the same thoughtful, child-centred care that families know and trust.
