Daniel graduated in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Hong Kong. Prior to this, Daniel completed a BSc in Sports Science in Australia in 1999 and worked as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist. After returning to Hong Kong in 2003, he also trained in Active Isolated Stretching, under its founder, Aaron Mattes.
Daniel joined PhysioCentral in 2005, where he started applying his knowledge and skills in personal training, sports massage and stretch therapy, to assist in the rehabilitation of clients.
At PhysioCentral Daniel’s extensive clinical work has included rehabilitation of occupational injuries such as neck and back pain, pre and post operational rehabilitation of sports injuries and accidents, treatment of chronic pain patients and joint replacement rehabilitation pre and post surgery.
Daniel has been involved in on field medical support for Hong Kong Rugby since 2012. Since then he has worked with and provided on field Physiotherapy to the National Age Grade Boys U16s VIIs and XVs, Men’s U20s VIIs, Nationals Men’s VIIs and XVs and National Women’s VIIs. He is currently the tournament and touring physio for the Women’s National VIIs team. Daniel is also a Physiotherapist at HK Scottish Premiership Rugby team.
