Candice is a Canadian-trained physiotherapist who was born and raised in Toronto. She has worked across various clinical settings including geriatric acute care and spinal cord injury rehab in the early years of her career in Toronto. She has also worked in Physio-Pilates studios in Singapore where she further honed her skills in Pilates and musculoskeletal conditions.

She found her true calling when she became a mother and endured her own postpartum challenges after a difficult birth. This led her to focus on Women’s Health Physiotherapy, a specialised area that is of growing public demand, especially in Asia. Candice is passionate about supporting women of all stages of life and has demonstrated her passion and dedication in this field through her diligent approach to professional development and collaboration with other health professionals. Candice continues to stay up-to-date with the ever-evolving evidence related to the assessment and treatment of women’s health conditions including diastasis rectus abdominis, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, blocked ducts, and incontinence. Depending on the needs of the individual, she can offer more comprehensive consultations that include internal pelvic health examinations and real-time ultrasound assessments (transabdominal and transperineal).

Candice believes in a holistic approach to healthcare. As a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor, her treatment focuses on movement-based rehabilitation. She works closely with clients to identify their personal goals and strives to provide a well-rounded treatment plan to relieve symptoms and recondition the mind and body. She merges the knowledge of evidence-based practice with her patient’s values and preferences. Candice also brings forth her own experiences as a mom of two and can relate to the physical and mental demands of being a parent!

She is fluent in English and Cantonese with basic conversational skills in Mandarin.
